Owl’s Head Alloys Furnace #5 Building, Dross Building, and Site Improvement

This project included demolishing a dross building and wash building, construction of a new dross building, new furnace #5 building, furnace foundations, Rotary furnace installation, new truck scale and radiation detector relocation, new facility access roadways, process foundations for Oxygen and Vaporizer, furnace troughing and all associated process mechanical and electrical systems. In addition, new gas and 1,200-amp electrical site utilities we ran to the new furnace building and all equipment feeds and hook ups for the furnace components were installed.
