Kobelco Phase 2 – Extrusion Plant #1 and Melting Plant #1

Kobelco Phase 2 consisted to two new buildings. The first building is the Extrusion Plant which is a 51,667 sq ft facility with heavy process foundation systems, pits, and trenches. This is a clear span building with multiple overhead cranes, die maintenance shop, and process electrical and mechanical systems, compressed air various process gases. The Melting Plant is a 22,941 sq ft facility housing a Vertical Extrusion machine with over a 60-foot-deep vertical shaft and foundation system for this equipment. The facility includes process foundations and systems for Melting and Holding Furnaces as well.
