Kobelco Phase 4 – Fabrication Plant #3 , Extrusion Plant #2, Melting Plant Addition

Kobelco’s phase 4 expansion consisted of adding onto all existing buildings. The extrusion plant doubled in size added new overhead cranes, deep equipment foundations systems for a horizontal aluminum extrusion process, and process mechanical and electrical the Fabrication and Melting plants both expanded to increase overall capacity of the plant. The office was also expanded on both ends of the office, including breakroom, locker room, and restrooms. All expansions were completed during normal plant operations and were completed early.
