Rivendell Behavioral Hospital Addition

Scott, Murphy & Daniel completed the construction of a 24‑bed adult behavioral health wing addition designed to match the existing hospital in both architectural character and construction type. The addition features a conventional structural steel framing system with bar joists and a metal deck roof, complemented by exterior finishes of stone veneer, brick veneer, and an EIFS parapet assembly. Interior spaces were thoughtfully planned to support patient care and staff efficiency, including administrative offices, exam and patient assessment rooms, a centralized nurses station, and a dedicated medicine room. Patient accommodations include twelve shared patient rooms, supported by four group and activity rooms and two secure exterior activity areas that promote therapeutic engagement and recovery.
